Darren has been dealing with Estate Management since 1994 when he founded Crown Property Management Ltd. The business has grown to be one of the leading South West property agents, specialising in the management of Freehold & Leasehold properties, on behalf of Landlords.

Sam is the Property Manager for Great Cliff and has worked with Crown since 2008. Sam oversees all aspects of work carried out at Great Cliff, including such items as the annual budget, lift service and other maintenance contracts.

Catherine Caunter AIRPM

Catherine joined Crown in 2018 having worked in retail customer services for a major retail chain. Catherine deals with the day to day management of Great Cliff and has recently qualified as an Associate Member of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM). Catherine is normally the first point of contact for all matters requiring attention.

Roger Smith, FIOD

Roger purchased the original show-home at Great Cliff  in 2006. 

Being a Fellow Member of the Institute of Directors, Roger has extensive management experience at Chairman/MD level, running a London based family business with nearly 250 employees, dealing with the UK building materials market, in addition to worldwide exports. 

Roger’s experience included the management of Freehold and Leasehold properties, based in London, Essex, Warwickshire & Cheshire.

Paul Sparks

Paul spent much of his working life in the City of London, where he built up experience in Building & Facilities Management, working for a global insurance company, dealing with UK properties regionally based plus other properties located throughout Europe.

Paul’s experience in dealing with maintenance and property managing agents, provides a very useful background to his work at Great Cliff.

Barry Brant

Barry spent most of his working time within the boat building industry until the mid-90's, from when he ran his  own boat hire  & boat storage company at Benson on the river Thames. 

This business was successfully developed to become one of the largest operations of its type on the Thames, before being acquired in 2000 by Crown Blue Line (TUI UK Ltd), when Barry was retained as Base Manager of the Benson operation. 

A new base was opened the following season at Chertsey, which he also managed until 2019.

Paul Guest

Paul started work with British Rail as an apprentice blacksmith in Manchester before moving to Oxford to study Economics and Politics at Ruskin College. 

Paul then entered the IT industry with IBM, eventually running his own business in cyber security for 25 years. He has a Master's degree in Information Security.

Paul also ran his own property letting business with a number of properties based in Manchester and Banbury where he was responsible for their maintenance and upkeep for 20 years. Paul retired in 2020.

Paul has been visiting Dawlish ever since he was a child and moved to Dawlish in 2019. He moved into Flat 3 in October 2023.
